What's inside The Selection by Kiera Cass???

First thing first, this is sort of a review about a novel called The Selection by Kiera Cass. This is a really good thing to read! I'm not going to tell you about its price, where you can find it and stuffs. All I'm going to do is to tell you what's inside of it, the main story in this book, maybe like a spoiler. And anyway, this is a trilogy, but today I'm just going to tell you whats inside The Selection, which is the first book :). You should check this out, especially if you call yourself a book addict. *winks at you*
"35 Girls. 1 Crown. The Competition of a Lifetime."

Yeah that sentence explains a lot. Let's get started! So, there's this girl named America Singer. America Singer lives in a world with 8 castes, meaning that there are 8 social and economic standings, with one being the richest and most desirable position, with 8 being the lowest and least desirable. America is a Five, an entertainer (e.g. dancers, singers, musicians) and has just received a notice stating that the prince of IllĂ©a – a futuristic United States which America lives in – Crown Prince Maxon Schreave will be holding the Selection, a competition for the prince's hand and the crown of the princess. Her mother wanted her to enter the selection, meanwhile she is madly in love with a boy who's a six, named Aspen Leger. At first, she refused to enter the selection, but things changed when Aspen told her to enter the selection.

Then Aspen and America broke up, but of course they both still have the same feelings for each other. This leads America to entering the Selection and later into the palace where she has to compete with 34 other girls to win the prince's heart. Every contestant got 3 maids that will look after them. When America first saw Maxon on TV, she believed he was a shallow and stuck-up person. Thus, when she meets him for one of the first times, she misunderstands his intentions and knees him in the groin. However, he forgives her and she later discovered that he was actually very very kind and a gentleman. There were a lots of things they do, like horse riding, dinner with the royals, even partiesssss! So much fun! Well at first, America hates being in the palace, the thought about Aspen is still running around in her head. Magically, when she was with Maxon, she met Aspen in the palace! Aspen is now one of the guard, what a massive surprise! You know, we the readers were already like "what happen with aspen?" but Kiera is just too good at this. So she starts seeing Aspen again, but of course by sneaking out. As the time goes by, America and Maxon were getting closer. Somehow, America realized that she likes Maxon. This part is like the moment when there's a new guy on the block and you started liking him, and yet you still have some feelings for your ex boyfriend.
America is sort of a rebel girl, which makes Maxon more attracted to her. But King Clarkson, his father, is kind of dislike America. Sad but true. There's always an eliminated girl(s) and sent home every week. During the selection, there were so many attacks from the south and the north. That's pretty scary tho.
So the video above is a video of The Selection Official Trailer, go check that out!
Sooner, America feels something way more intense than just 'a girl in a selection to get the crown'. But its more like 'a girl in a palace to get Maxon's heart' which she already did. Things become tense in the competition when America starts to feel jealous of Maxon spending time with the other girls. But however, she is Maxon's first kiss. She should've already know what Maxon feels about her. Oh and there is this girl called Celeste, well yeah she's a model, rich, and whatsoever but she's so evil, arrogant, always thinks that she's better than the rest, and stuffs. Almost every girl in the selection didn't like her. So soon, there were six girls left and they become The Elite, which is the second book. Thank you for reading my review about The Selection :) here are some quotes from The Selection that I like.

And if you're too busy to read this book, I think you should check this out!! :)
